Service Description

This is a one day face-face training that refreshes staff in their knowledge on several aspects of supporting vulnerable children and adults in care. The skills attained meets the requirements to continue working in care. This includes theory and practical training. It is very interactive as staff are encouraged to apply the "Challenge principle" and are guided on the procedures of whistle blowing. The part they play in this industry is reiterated to them by demonstrations and are encouraged to practice good practice rather than old complacent practices.
